Pakistani skipper Babar Azam will play for Peshawar Zalmi

 

 Pakistani skipper Babar Azam will play for Peshawar Zalmi in the upcoming Pakistan Super League. Babar's former franchise Karachi His Kings traded him for Hyder Ali and Shoai Ibu Malik.

 As of now, Babar is the only player in his category of Platinum in Peshawar. Wahab Riaz and Sherfane Rutherford are in the Diamond His category, while Mohammad Haris, who shone through the 2022 T20 World Championship with his fearless punches, is in the Gold His category. Peshawar are the only team holding seven players. 

 Haider is Karachi's only platinum category player, while Malik joins Imad Wasim and Mohammad Amir in the diamond category. We kept Sharjeel Khan, Mir Hamza and Aamir Yamin in the Silver category and Qasim Akram in the Emerging category. 

 Defending champion Lahore Qalandars holds captains Shaheen Afridi and Rashid Khan in the platinum category.
