Suryakumar Yadav's blistering century and Tim Southee hat-trick-Bat Vs Ball Game

Suryakumar Yadav's blistering century secured India's victory against New Zealand in the 2nd T20I on Sunday.

SKY notched up his second hundred in the shortest format of the game and the Kiwis had no answer to his onslaught.

SKY keeps his plane high

Fair to say that it was a one-man show when India were batting. Williamson won the toss and keeping in mind the rain factor, he decided to bowl first. As expected, Rishabh Pant opened alongside Ishan Kishan, but the partnership couldn't flourish as Pant departed for a pain-staking 6 off 13 deliveries.

With no Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in the side, the man in-form, Suryakumar Yadav was promoted at number 3 and the Surya made full use of this opportunity. He started the his innings  along with Kishan, who struggled a bit and was out for a 31-ball 36.

The pitch was a better friendly and SKY took full advantage of it. His 360 degree play came into effect as the took the Kiwi bowlers to the cleaners. Even the introduction of Santner and Sodhi couldn't stop Suryakumar as he shined away to a sensational hundred and remained unbeaten on 111 runs from 51 balls

Tim Southee

Just when it looked as if India would cross the 200-run mark, Tim Southee produced a sensational last over and bagged his second hat-trick in the T20I format. He grabbed the wickets of Hardik Pandya, Deepak Hooda and Washington Sundar and restricted India to 191 for 6.
